Non-Breaking Hyphen

When a negative number occurs at the end of a line, the negative sign being separated from the digits.

Is is possible to format the tag so that a non-breaking hyphen is used for the negative sign? Or can someone suggest another way to insure that the hyphen and the digits are not separated?

Many Thanks

Re: Non-Breaking Hyphen

Tony,

Can you please post a simple example.  Give me what the data would look like and the output you expect to see?  Also if  you have the data in an XML file, could you post a cut down version and a template that shows just this issue?

Re: Non-Breaking Hyphen

Tony,

You can use Microsoft Word's native "keep with next" option when you select text.  This will keep the negative sign (hypen) and numbers together.
